North Carolina-Greensboro (20-9) earned its first-ever NCAA
Tournament berth after routing Liberty, 79-53, today in the Big
South Conference championship game at Lynchburg, Va.
South Carolina State (22-7) beat Coppin
State 69-56 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
championship game at Tallahassee, Fla, to earn its first
NCAA Tournament berth since 1989.
